SAMI Collabs With OXYArt

SAMI recently teamed up with some awesome folks at the OxyArt program, an off shoot of Occidental College in Pasadena, which is helping victims of the Eaton Fires. Oxy's after school programs cater to kids from low-income families who not only have challenges in academics but who attend schools that have little or no funding for arts programs. Through their partnership with SAMI, Oxy was able to extend its reach and give the kids in their program take-home art kits, encouraging the kids to explore their creativity and imagination.

SAMI is working with Oxy to establish a permanent connection to kids who fall under the Title 1 federal programs, where exposure to art lessons and supplies is often limited or non-existent.
