SAMbassadors Help LAUSD Back To School

Before members of Team SAMI embarked on their journey to various colleges and universities scattered across the country, they took a moment to come together as a cohesive unit.

This gathering was not only a chance to bond as a team but also an opportunity to engage in a meaningful community service project. They enthusiastically packed up backpacks filled with essential back-to-school items that would be invaluable for middle-schoolers preparing to start a new academic year.

The backpacks were carefully assembled with a variety of necessities, including notebooks , pens and pencils, rulers, markers, erasers, highlighters, glue sticks, and even some fun stickers to personalize their school supplies. As a special surprise, each backpack contained an ImagineBySami Paint Kit!

Once the backpacks were fully packed and ready for distribution, Carla Liber drove to Gardner Street Elementary in Hollywood where they were distributed to underserved kids who attend the school but might not have had all they needed.
