SAMI and UCLA Mattel

Carla delivers kits to UCLA Health volunteer staff at UCLA Children's Hospital in Westwood.

Sami and Ava both had occasion to visit UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital and both the level of care and kindness of the staff was exceptional. So when SAMI heard the young patients needed art supplies we were happy to step in and provide InspiredBySami art and drawing kits. We hope this initial collaboration will lead to a more expansive partnership across the entire UCLAHealth system.

Sami used her artistic skills to both create and meditate. She would put on her headphones, put together a quick playlist, and get to work creating something beautiful. We recognize and have empirical evidence that immersing yourself in artistic endeavors is healing, so no better place to supply the tools for art and creativity then to the kids in this incredible medical facility.
