When Sami suddenly and tragically died in the Summer of 2024, she was bursting with life, creativity, and purpose. She had started concepts in her role as editor for the school yearbook, she was training hard for varsity cheer, finishing an intricate oil painting, and volunteering at Allies for Every Child. Her final days were spent on a family trip to Jackson Hole, where she hoped to explore the town and the beauty of the surrounding mountains.

The SAMI Foundation carries forward Sami's dreams of creating opportunities for kids to experience the joy and healing power of art and music, two of her greatest passions. The foundation will provide supplies and support directly to kids, community groups and schools across the country, so their only limitation is their imagination.
